Happy Birthday!

First, it’s Friday and I am so grateful, as I’m sure most of you out there are as well. We made it! Feel free to do a little happy chair dance, or if you’re feeling really out there, leave your headphones on, stand up in your cubicle and really let loose. You own that 5 foot square…haha

Now that that’s out of my system, it’s onward with this very fun blog post! As some of you might know, next week is my birthday. On Wednesday, Oct. 12th I will be turning 26. I’m sure my mother can give me a time stamp of my actual birth, but I’m good with the general day. So of course, I got to thinking about birthdays and what they involve: cards, cake, and presents. The presents part that really got me thinking. I have a ton of creative friends and every year I have a bit of a panic about what I’m going to get them as a present. I have panic all the way up until I actually purchase and wrap said gift. So much pressure! Will they like it? Is it too corny? Is it the thought that counts? So many questions go running through my mind. I’m 25 years old and from what I hear from the older generations, well it doesn’t get any easier trying to figure out what to buy people!

In my travels, I have come across many an item that I instantly think to myself, “Wow! That would be a great birthday gift!” I usually forget and end up buying the birthday person something else, but they were really cool gift ideas! So I thought I’d share some of them with you. GIve you a little rundown of gifts that I know someone in your life will enjoy. So when the panic sets in, don’t worry. Head back to this post, and I know you’ll find something!
